Discipleship in a Box | November 2020

“Discipleship is simply living the Christian life as it was meant to be lived.”
—Pastor Greg Laurie

To know God and enjoy him forever is the aim of every Christian. We all want to know God better so we have assembled a box designed to provide you with tools, resources, and encouragement to grow as a disciple.

Inside the box

Devotional Book – Set time aside each day to meditate on God’s word.  Follow the instructions each day for a time of Bible reading and prayer.

Knowing God Personally Booklet – This resource is designed to help you with a simple presentation of the Gospel message. To use this booklet effectively, walk through it with someone who may be interested in following Jesus. DO NOT leave this booklet on a table or car windshield or give it to a random person.

Kind-vember Challenge Cards – During the month of November, we want to spread kindness throughout the valley and beyond. We are calling this project Kind-vember! Enclosed in this month’s discipleship box, you will find a list of 100 Acts of Kindness. We want to challenge you to do as many acts as you can during November. We want people to know that we are grateful for them, that they are loved, and that they matter. You can do the Acts of Kindness alone or with friends and family. Have fun, make great memories, and share your stories!

Great Commission Prayer Guide – To keep your heart connected to God’s mission, try praying these simple prayers and see how God works in the lives of those around you.

Showing people we are grateful for them, they are loved, and they matter!

During the month of November, we want to spread kindness throughout the valley and beyond so we ask you to participate in Kind-vember. The idea is simple. Enclosed in this month’s box Discipleship in a Box and on the Kind-vember webpage, you will find a list of 100 Acts of Kindness. The challenge is to do as many of them as you can during November.

We want people to know that we are grateful for them, that they are loved, and that they matter. You can do the Acts of Kindness alone or with friends and family. Share pictures and encourage others by using #kindvember on social media.
